I began lifting at 18, weighing just about 150 pounds, initially chasing solely appearance-based goals - mainly to put enough muscle mass on to outgrow the 'skinny-fat' stage that many find themselves in. I very quickly developed an obsession with progression and became determined to optimize my progress. At first, I relied on advice from experienced lifters and mainstream fitness content without doing much of my own research, but this approach led to frustration and little progress., and I was lucky to avoid major injury from a training regiment that left a lot to be desired. Over time, I gravitated toward a science-based approach, drawn to its objectivity, and immersed myself in research on muscle physiology, nutrition, recovery and related fields. As my understanding deepened, my progress continued, at a much faster pace than expected. Now, after years of training and research, my passion for learning and pursuit of excellence remain stronger than ever, and I pride myself on continuing to improve my training everything around it.

After years of following misinformation myself, I have therefore made it my main aim to reverse as much damage as possible when it comes to misleading or straight-up false information plaguing the internet in the fitness and nutrition industry. I want to not only give my clients the most consistent, fastest progress they have ever seen, but also help them build lifelong tools so that their training (like mine) improves well into the future and becomes a part of their life. Gaining actual science-backed information about training, nutrition and recovery gives you absolutely priceless knowledge and habits that you can implement into countless other areas of your life for success across the board.

One of my most valuable assets is the strong network of friends and professionals in the fitness and health industry with whom I’ve built meaningful connections. They constantly inspire me to improve and serve as invaluable resources, bringing expertise in areas beyond my own. Despite having a wide range of knowledge that I have built up available at my disposal for my clients, I am committed to continuous learning and take pride in constantly staying as up to date as possible with the latest research and principles in hypertrophy training, nutrition, recovery and sleep, as well as other areas that I believe are fundamental to producing the best performance and results. My goal is always to provide unmatched value and results by applying the most current, evidence-based knowledge. Strength training is rooted in science, which is constantly evolving, and I believe it is the responsibility of coaches and professionals to stay informed about new discoveries, theories, and also debunked myths. Despite the increasing number of coaches in the modern world who choose not to further their knowledge and often purposely remain ignorant, I believe this is unacceptable and it is essential to always be looking to deepen our understanding and application of this knowledge.
